Realistic Human Brain Cake

The Cake

  • 200 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 200 g butter
  • 200 g eggs (4 eggs)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • red food colour

The Decoration

  • 1.5 kg marzipan
  • 10 tbsp seedless raspberry jam


The Cake

  • Mix butter and sugar together until you get a foamy buttercream texture
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, mix, then add flour
  • Finally add the red food colour and mix
  • Divide into 2 tins (if available) and bake at 150C between 30-45 min (check inbetween)

The Decorations

  • Add jam in between the 2 cakes, and cover the whole cake in jam
  • Roll the marzipan into different length rolls and stick them onto the cake in a random pattern
  • Cover the whole cake with a thin layer of jam
