Valentine's Day

Valentine’s Chocolate Hearts

Valentine's Chocolate Hearts | Chapters by S.

Barely a week to go until Valentine’s Day and for those of you, who don’t yet have a present or are simply looking for something small and personalised, I came up with these imperfect yet perfect heart shaped chocolates. Using sugar lips, crispy pearls, red m&ms, little sugar hearts, gold spray (edible of course!) and some red food colour I simply melted some white chocolate bars, added some coconut cream for a smoother texture and pressed the mixture into my cake pop moulds. Let them rest in the freezer for about 30 minutes, done!

They leave so much room for creativity and make the perfect and delicious Valentine’s treat for your loved ones. I added a few photos of the process below but no recipe this time, as really all you need is white chocolate and the rest is completely up to you. I hope you like them!

Wow, the chocolate hearts look so unique, I’d have never of thought to use a mould so that the decorations are pressed into the shape. I suppose an ice cube tray could work too, I might have to try this out! It’s a lovely idea :)

Thanks Ami! Yes I was thinking about an ice cube tray but I wasn’t sure if I could get the heart out in one piece. But give it a try :)
