It’s November, temperatures are falling below zero and Christmas music is becoming unavoidable wherever I go so I decided it was about time for my favourite sweet winter warmer. You might know mulled mead from Harry Potter or Christmas Markets. I myself hadn’t heard of it until 2 years ago when I visited Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park, London. I fell in love with it right away and ever since it has replaced mulled red wine for me.
This is the first time I actually attempted to make it myself but it turned out just the way I remembered it. For those of you who don’t know, mead is an ancient honey wine, go out buy a bottle and give it a try :)

The Winter Warmer Mulled Mead
- 750 ml Mead (Honey Wine)
- 8 cloves
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 clementines
- Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring to boil.
- Cook for 10 minutes. Enjoy while hot.
