Soft Waves For Medium Length Hair

If you are a passionate blog reader like me, you might have noticed that lately everyone has the same hairstyle: these soft, flirty waves that look undone but very put together at the same time. Clearly no one wakes up looking like this, so I decided to put up a tutorial on how to create this look. It’s easy, quick and perfect for medium length hair.

1. Brush some heat protector and styling mousse through all of your hair and let it dry for a bit. Pull your part all the way to the back of your head to separate your hair into 2 large sections. Then separate each section into 3 smaller ones.

2. Starting with the lowest section, curl your hair away from your face. Section 2 should be curled towards your face. Finally the top section of hair should be curled away from your face again. Don’t curl the tips (1 or 2 inches) of your hair to create a more natural ‘uncurled’ look in the end.

3. Using a styling product of your choice (wax, sea salt spray etc.) distribute it through your ends of your hair in a crunching motion. Finally run your finger through all of your hair to brush the curls out a bit.

4. Apply a bit of hairspray and run your fingers through again. Done!
