Hello everyone! As you might know I am usually a big fan of special desserts which are far from standard. However, I have had some chocolate cravings lately and decided to come up with a healthy brownie alternative. It turned out to be so good that I just couldn’t keep them from you guys! They are so easy to make and taste exactly like the ones you might be used to, just with no regrets. The best part is, I managed to combine two very popular lifestyles, Vegan and Paleo, which usually is very difficult if not even impossible. Either way, you should give them a try, they’re worth it!

Ingredients
Brownie Dough
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • 50 g protein powder (vegan optional)
  • 50 g chocolate chips
  • 2 large bananas
  • 100 ml apple puree
Toppings
  • 50 g dark chocolate
  • 20 g coconut flakes
Servings: brownies
Instructions
  1. Mix all dough ingredients together in a bowl and put into a bread pan
  2. Preheat oven to 170 °C and bake for 15 minutes
  3. In the meantime melt chocolate and pulse coconut flakes in a belnder until it becomes fine powder
  4. Let brownies cool and add toppings
