Raw Blueberry Jam (Sugar Free)

Although I rarely eat bread in the morning I have always been a big fan of good huckleberry jam. However, nowadays I find the thought of how much refined sugar is being used to make jam quite revolting so I started looking for alternative recipes for my occasional toast cravings. When looking for healthy alternatives of favourite foods, I always find it helpful to read through vegan or raw versions first as many of them avoid any kinds of processed foods and the use of refined sugars.

Finally I found several raw jam recipes working with chia seeds to get a jelly-like consistency and raw honey for sweetness. As fresh huckleberries are nowhere to be found at the moment I used fresh blueberries instead and the result was amazing! You should be able to store your jam in the fridge for up to two weeks depending on the freshness of the berries you used. Enjoy!
