4 Tips For Maintaining Healthy Blonde Hair

My Weekly Routine For Healthy Blonde Hair | Chapters by S.

Ever since I stopped bleaching my hair 2 years ago I started caring for it even more. Back then I had a short bob so trying to grow out bleached-to-death ends really became a challenge. I quickly learned that keeping up brightness and healthiness doesn’t take any complicated tricks and picked up this weekly routine. I can recommend it to anyone with blonde hair, bleached or natural!

1. Cleaning: After washing your hair with shampoo, run some lemon juice through it. It removes any build up and opens up your hair to further products.

2. Silver Shampoo: First of all pick a good silver shampoo! By that I don’t mean expensive, I just mean dark blue. I’ve seen expensive silver shampoos which were see-through with a light blue tint and I’m just not convinced they do anything for you, put that’s just my opinion. Massage it through all of your hair and let it sit for a few minutes, then wash it out.

3. Coconut Oil: I have tried so many hair oils in my life, cheap or expensive, and always ended up throwing them out after just a few days. For quite a while now I have been using organic coconut oil on my hair and it has done wonders! Just take a walnut sized amount, rub it between your hands and work it through the ends of your hair.

4. Soaking: Finally put your hair into a loose bun or a braid and let the oil work its magic during the day or overnight, whichever you prefer. It will be softer than ever!
