Halloween is the season of candy corn, gummy bears, chocolates or just anything made of sugar. As I am trying to cut down my sugar intake I just had to find a way to work around this time of the year while still being able to enjoy it. As a result I started coming up with healthy yet funny Halloween snacks which are eye candy AND good for your teeth and body.
My first savory idea are Halloween shaped sweet potato chips as pumpkins, ghosts and stars. As a regular part of my diet they are always on hand and super easy to make. However, I definitely recommend a sharp knife as sweet potatoes can be very hard to cut, so be careful. Enjoy!
TIP: Switch it up with pumpkin pie spice instead of salt and paprika to make a sweet version :)
