I am starting this post by saying, that this is in no way sponsored, as in this specific case I am writing about one of my absolute favourite products for a very good reason. I bought this little eyebrow kit exactly 10 years ago and never had to refill it. Now this may sound crazy, but I am telling you the truth.
By now Shiseido has changed their packaging design, gone up with the price a bit and added a few new colous specifically for blondes (HERE), but if you own dark brow powder like me it’s actually perfect for ash blonde hair. Back then (when I was 14) obviously the price seemed a bit steep, but by now I have definitely gotten my money’s worth and by the looks of it, will continue to do so for at least another 10 years.
Just because you have blonde eyebrows doesn’t mean you can’t fill them in. It might be a bit more difficult than on someone with naturally black eyebrows but it’s definitely possible and worth it as it just brightens up your entire face. Below you can see my before and after and what effect it has.
1. Quickly brush through your brows as this will make the filling in easier. As I lost my original brush, I am simply using an old (and clean!) mascara brush.
2. Using only the black colour (unless your hair has red undertones) carefully fill in your eyebrow starting at the back. The darkest point should be the peak of your arch for a more natural look.
3. Using some light concealer, outline your eyebrow underneath, and above the ‘tail’ to sharpen the look. As we’re not working with dark colours or eyebrow pencils this is a good alternative.
4. Finally brush through your brows with some light brow gel to make them look more defined. Start by brushing upwards, then continue brushing towards the outside as you go along. All done!
