Broiled Grapefruits

These delicious fruits are a perfect meal any time of the day. I have long been a great fan of grapefruits, so after discovering broiled grapefruits on Pinterest, I had to give it a try. There are many variations of my recipe including honey instead of sugar, adding ginger or adding bananas. I am sure each of these recipes are delicious but I decided to stick to basic ingredients and made them up for a nice Sunday breakfast.

Ingredients
  • 2 Pink grapefruits
  • 2 tsp unrefined brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • ginger (optional)
  • bananas (optional)
  • honey (optional)
Servings: people
Instructions
  1. Cut the grapefruits in half and cut up the inside so it will be easier to eat them later
  2. Sprinkle each half with unrefined brown sugar and cinnamon
  3. Put them in the grill for about 6 minutes until the sugar starts caramelizing
